Disney+
If you’re looking for evening filled with internet TV, Disney+ will fulfill your wish for €8,99 per month. New content from the likes of Pixar, Marvel and Lucasfilm (Star Wars franchise), appears on the streaming service after seven months on average. You will also watch 21st Century Fox series like The Simpsons, 20th Century Fox films and programmes from National Geographic. Currently, Disney+ is not doing as well as expected.
Amazon Prime
At €2,99 per month, Amazon Prime is likely to be the cheapest online streaming service. They have popular series like 'The Rings of Power' or Belgium's No 1 at the moment, Mr & Mrs Smith.
HBO NOW / HBO Max
HBO NOWis a US streaming service from Warner Bros. Discovery. They are finally launching HBO Max in Belgium this year (2024). You can watch HBO's award-winning series, as well as Warner Brothers' huge film catalogue.
Apple TV+
Apple TV+often brings original shows. Those who buy an Apple TV device get 3 months of free Apple TV+. A subscription normally costs you €9,99 a month. Everything is neatly subtitled. Apple even provides audio descriptions in 8 languages. Apple TV+ opts for quality of series over quantity.
Where can you find your favorite movie or series?
With JustWatch you can look up any movie or series, and the app tells you on which platform you can watch it. In addition to the American streaming services, this app even has Streamz.
This way you know when a new season will be released
Apps like Hobi and TV Time notify you when your favorite series starts a new season. You simply indicate which series are important to you, and the app will automatically keep you informed.
