Edpnet telephony is VOIP telephony. Most standard telephones can be connected to the telephony port of your VOIP compatible modem and will work just fine. However there may be exceptions to this. We are aware that some fax hardware and/or alarms do not function well using this method. If you wish to connect your alarm system or fax to edpnet telephony, we advise you to contact the supplier of your alarm system or fax device.
